Going Green!

CCC are currently working on 3 greenway projects. The illustrations below were developed as part of the Ulster Canal Greenway Phase 3 feasibility study, which was recently presented to Monaghan County Council. The completion of this section of Greenway, would tie-into the Phase 2 works, currently being developed, and the completed Phase 1 works around Monaghan town. The end result will see Middletown, in Co. Armagh, and Clones, in Co. Monaghan, linked by a continuous 40 km greenway along the route of the former canal. While the greenway in the photo has been drawn in, the rainbow in the photo is real, as seen by CCC’s team of intrepid explorers who had the pleasure of walking the route.
