Mid-Shannon Wilderness Park Greenway project

CCC are delighted to be assisting Longford County Council in the development of the Mid-Shannon Wilderness Park Greenway project. The proposed project is 72 kms in length and will follow the route of former Bord na Móna industrial railways lines, which are in the process of being removed. The visualisation above, adapted from a recent site visit photo, shows the proposed crossing of the River Shannon over the existing Kilnacarrow Bridge, which will be a prominent feature of the scheme.
